Discreet Personal Training for International Households in SW1

Private personal training should feel personal, not presumptive.

In SW1, you may have a full diary, frequent travel, family commitments and little time to waste. You do not need another generic fitness plan or a crowded gym. You need a calm, private service that fits your home, schedule and the way you want to live.

I am Will Duru, the coach behind PT Will. I provide one-to-one strength and fitness coaching in private home gyms and studios. I work with international clients, including people with connections across the Arab world. I listen first. I do not make assumptions about your lifestyle, beliefs, language, goals or the coaching you will want.

Your program is built around you.

Privacy is part of the service

For many clients, privacy is not an extra. It is essential.

Training at home lets you control your space and your time. There is no busy gym floor, no waiting for equipment and no public timetable. Sessions can work around your household routine in a setting where you feel comfortable.

Before we begin, we agree how you would like the service to work. You may prefer direct communication, or for your PA, household manager or another trusted person to manage appointments. Either is fine, provided you authorise it clearly.

I treat your training as private. There should be no surprise photography, social-media posts or sharing of personal details without your clear permission. We also agree who may be present, how I should arrive, and how I should communicate about your progress.

A program that respects your life

The best training plan is one you can follow consistently. It should work around work, family, travel and recovery. It should not require you to become someone else.

Whether you want more strength, better body composition, energy, confidence with weights or a clear routine, I create a plan around your starting point.

I begin with a consultation and assessment. We discuss your goals, training history, schedule and equipment. I assess your mobility, strength, flexibility and current fitness, then create a clear programme that fits.

Many clients train two or three times each week, usually for 45 to 60 minutes. The exact schedule is yours. My role is to make every session useful, coach your technique, monitor progress and adjust the plan as your life changes.

If you have a home gym, I will help you use it properly. If you are building one, I can advise on practical equipment that supports your goals. You do not need every machine. You need the right setup and a plan that uses it well.

Cultural awareness means asking, not assuming

People from the Arab world have different nationalities, languages, faiths, lifestyles and views on fitness. Some clients may want a completely private environment. Some may have preferences around trainer gender, modesty or who is present in the home. Some may not. The right approach is a private conversation before training begins.

I will ask what helps you feel comfortable and supported. That may include your preferred communication style, privacy arrangements, whether you are comfortable with hands-on form cues, and whether you would rather receive verbal instruction and demonstrations.

Dietary preferences are personal. I do not believe in strict, short-term diets. Instead, I help you create a routine around the food you enjoy, your goals and the demands of training. If foods, ingredients or meal times matter to you, we build those into the plan.

If you observe Ramadan or other religious commitments, we can discuss this in advance. Training may need to move to a different time of day, and the session intensity may need to change. The aim is to keep a sensible routine while respecting your priorities. If you have a health condition or need medical advice, I will work alongside the guidance of your clinician.

Training that travels with you

A successful program should not fall apart the moment you leave London.

Many international clients divide their time between homes, travel for work or have periods when their usual gym is unavailable. That does not mean training has to stop. I can structure your programme so you know exactly what to do independently, whether you are in a hotel gym, another home or working with limited equipment.

Online personal training can provide continuity while you are away. We can review progress, update your programme and keep your routine moving without starting again from zero when you return to SW1.

Strength, fitness and confidence are built over time. They come from a plan that can adapt, not extreme sessions followed by long breaks.

High standards without the noise

Private coaching should be calm, organised and professional.

You should know what you are working towards, why each part of your programme matters and how progress is measured. You should be able to ask questions freely and receive clear answers. You should never feel pressured into a trend, a supplement or a result promised too quickly.

My role is to give you structure, accountability and expert coaching. Your role is to follow a plan that makes sense for your life. Together, we build something sustainable.

Start with a private conversation

If you are looking for discreet personal training in SW1, I would be happy to speak with you.

We can discuss your goals, home-gym setup, diary, travel and any preferences that will help you feel comfortable with the service. There are no assumptions and no one-size-fits-all approach.

Your training should fit your life, your home and your standards. Book a private consultation with PT Will, and let’s create a programme built around you.

When to pause and get advice

Training should never leave you worse off. Stop and speak to a health professional if you notice any of these.

  • Bleeding that gets heavier or turns pink or red after activity.
  • A stomach that still bulges or feels floppy more than six weeks after birth, or any loss of bladder or bowel control.
  • A heavy or dragging feeling in your pelvis.
  • Pain at a caesarean scar or at the site of a tear.
  • Ongoing back or pelvic pain.

I’d rather pause a session than push through something that needs checking.
